A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING
THE CHAIRMAN TO EXECUTE A COMMERCIAL REHA-
BILITATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE AGENCY AND
JOSEPH I. SAADI
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT
329,., N. BROADWAY
ANDRROVIDING FOR THE EXEMPTION OF SAID
PROPERTY FROM ACQUISITION BY THE AGENCY BY
EMINENT DOMAIN UPON CERTAIN CONDITIONS

BE IT RESOLVED by the Community Redevelopment
Agency of the City of Santa Ana as follows:
1. The Chairman of the Agency is hereby
authorized to executé on behalf of the Agency that certain
agreement entitled "Commercial Rehabilitation Participation
Agreement, (325 N. Broadway),"
form dated 3/25/81, between the Agency and
Joseph I. Saadi,
copies of which are on file in the office of the Executive
Director of the Agency and to which reference is hereby made
for full particulars, which Agreement pertains to property
(hereinafter referred to as the "subject property")
specifically described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.
2. The Executive Director is hereby authorized
to take all steps, and to sign all documents and instruments
necessary to implement and carry out this Agreement on
behalf of the Agency.

3. Upon issuance of a Certificate of Completion
pursuant to the abovesaid Agreement, the Executive Director
of the Agency shall cause this Re90lution to be recorded in
the Official Records of orange County. From and after the
date of such recordation, the subject property shall be
exempt from acquisition by the Agency by eminent domain in
accordance with section 33399(g) of the Community
Redevelopment Law, subject to the condition that, in the
event of the substantial destruction of the building
rehabilitated pursuant to the abovesaid Agreement, said
exemption shall terminate.

EXHIBIT A
Those portions of Lots 7 and 10 in Block 12 of the Town of
Santa Ana, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 2, Page 51 of
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Los Angeles County, California,
bounded and described as a whole as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot 10, and running
thence Easterly along the Northerly line of said Lot, 41 feet
and 8 inches to the center of the brick wall of a building
owned February 15, 1887 by M. Erreca; thence South 100 feet
to the South line of Lot 7 in said Block 12; thence Westerly
along the South line of said Lot 7,41 feet and 8 inches to
the Southwest corner of said Lot 7; thence Northerly along the
Westerly line of said Lots 7 and 10, 100 feet to the point of
beginning.
