CONSENT CALENDAR

routine by the Community Redevelopment Agency and will be
enacted by one motion without discussion unless otherwise directed
by the Chairperson. Persons wishing to speak regarding Consent

PUBLIC HEARINGS
A Public Hearing provides individuals the opportunity to be heard
regarding an intended action of the Community Redevelopment
Agency and the City Council. Persons wishing to speak regarding
Public Hearing matters should file a "Request to Speak" form with
the Recording Secretary.
4.
ADOPTION OF AMENDMENTS FOR THE MERGER OF THE SANTA
ANA REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREAS
Legal Notice was published in the Oranqe Countv Reqister for five
consecutive Mondays beginning August 2, 2004.
Recommended action was approved by:
a) The Planning Commission by a vote of 7:0 at its Regular Meeting
of June 14, 2004.
The Community Redevelopment and Housing Commission by a
vote of 7:0:1 (Turner abstained) at its Regular Meeting of August
17,2004.
b)
CITY COUNCIL ACTION
Motions: 1.
Adopt a resolution approving the Negative Declaration,
Environmental Review No. 2004-34.
2.
Adopt a resolution finding that the proposed redevelopment
plan merger amendments conform to the City of Santa Ana
General Plan.
3.
Adopt ordinances approving and adopting the amendments to
the Central City, Inter-City Commuter Station, North Harbor,
South Harbor, South Main, and Bristol Corridor
Redevelopment Project Areas for the merger of the Santa Ana
Redevelopment Project Areas.

COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ACTION
Motions: 1.
Adopt a resolution approving and adopting the Negative
Declaration, Environmental Review No. 2004-34.
2.
Adopt a resolution approving the proposed amendments and
recommending that the City Council approve the proposed
amendments and adopt the ordinances for the merger of the
Santa Ana Redevelopment Project Areas.
