OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
December 2, 1982
The meeting was informally convened in the dining room of the Shark
Island Yacht Club, 1099 Bayside Drive, Newport Beach, at 7:40 p.m.
Councilmembers John Acosta, Patricia A. McGuigan, Mayor Gordon Bricken,
and their respective spouses were present, as were Councilmembers R. W.
Luxembourger, and Alfred C. Serrato. Also present were City Attorney
Edward J. Cooper, Clerk of the Council Janice C. Guy, and their spouses.
City Manager A. J. Wilson, his wife, and a member of the press joined
the meeting at 8:00 p.m. Daniel E. Griset and J. Ogden Markel were
absent.
The member of the press was asked to join the group for dinner, but he
declined and left the building shortly thereafter.
Dinner ensued at 8:10 p.m. At the conclusion of dinner, MOTION was made
by Acosta, seconded by McGuigan, and unanimously carried, that a thank
you and sincere appreciation be expressed to Councilmember Luxembourger
for his warm and gracious hospitality.
Convivial conversation continued until 11:10 p.m., when the meeting was
informally adjourned.
