Hi-Way signs, Safety, Inc. for the for a one-year period DISCUSSION The Public Works Agency is responsible for a variety of major improvements to the City's streets, storm drains and sewers, buildings, and parks. Projects approved by City Council are identified with construction signs containing the logo: "a sign of things to come". Signs are used to inform the public of improvements made to the community by the City of Santa Ana. On May 20, 2002, the City Council awarded a contract to Myers & Sons Hi -Way Safety, Inc. for a two-year period, with provision for two one- year renewals. The vendor has performed satisfactorily during the past contract period and has agreed to renew the contract without an increase in pricing. Staff recommends the final renewal of the contract. FISCAL IMPACT The costs of the signs will be charged to the various projects in the City's Capital Improvement Program. ~iJA ~~ ( JAmes G.
