OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
January 22, 1985
The Joint Meeting of the Downtown Develo~nent Co~mission, the C~,,,unity
Redevelo~ent Agency and the City Council was convened at 7:03 p.m., by
Vice Mayor Johnson in the Standard Concrete Building, 117 West Fourth
Street. Councilmembers present were Wilson B. Hart, R. W. Luxembourger,
Patricia A. McGuigan and Vice Mayor Johnson. Also present were Assistant
City Manager Rex Swanson, City Attorney Edward J. Cooper and Clerk of the
Council Janice C. Guy. Councilmember Dan Young and City Manager Robert C.
Bobb joined the meeting at 7:05 p.m. and 7:06 p.m., respectively. Mayor
Daniel E. Griset joined the meeting at 7:29 p.m. Councilmember John
Acosta was absent.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Council adjourned to the Community Redevelo~nent Agency at 7:04 p.m.,
and reconvened at 8:42 p.m., with all members present, except
Councilm~mber Acosta.
12. TENANT RELOCATION ASSISTANCE
Edward Flores, representing Concilio, Gilbert Melendez, representing
the David Coalition, and LaDale Dunbar, representing the Feedback
Foundation, spoke regarding the proposed agresg]ent for tenant
relocation and family services assistance, indicating their concern
that administrative costs not be deducted from the $100,000.00 in
CDBG funds allocated to the progran, but that additional funds be
provided for that purpose.
MOTION: 1) Accept proposal of Feedback Foundation for tenant
relocation and family services assistance;
2) Authorize Mayor and Clerk to execute subsequent
contracts subject to approval by the City Attorney;
3)
Instruct staff to identify potential CDBG funding
sources for administrative costs for the program and
report to the Council on February 4, 1985 regarding
same and to pursue alternate grant funding sources
to cover administrative costs; and
4)
Instruct staff to provide Council with a financial
and performance evaluation of the Feedback Foundation's
administration of the relocation assistance program by
June 30, 1985.

OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
February 4, 1985
The Council convened at 11:20 a.m. in Roc~ 831, City Hall, 20 Civic Center
Plaza for the purpose of having a photograph taken for the City's Annual
Report. Councilmembers present were John Acosta, Wilson B. Hart, P. Lee
Johnson, R. W. Luxe~bourger, Patricia A. McGuigan, Dan Young and Mayor
Daniel E. Griset. Also present was Clerk of the Council Janice C. Guy.
Following the photography session, Councilmenbers informally discussed
items of general interest.
Councilmenber Luxembourger left the meeting at 12:05 p.m. City Manager
Robert C. Bobb and City Attorney ~dward J. Cooper joined the meeting at
12:00 noon for lunch. No action was taken.
The meeting was adjourned at 1:03 p.m.
