OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
March 19, 1985
The Joint Meeting of the City Council, CuL,,~dnity Redevelopment Agency and
Downtown Develo~uent Co~ission was called to order at 5:44 p.m., City
Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, by Mayor Daniel E. Griset.
Councilmembers present were John Acosta, wilson B. Hart, P. Lee Johnson,
R. W. Luxembourger, Patricia A. McGuigan, Dan Young and Mayor Griset. Also
present were City Manager Robert C. Bobb, City Attorney Edward J. Cooper
and Clerk of the Council Janice C. Guy.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
DOWI~TO~N DEVELOPMENT COM~4ISSION - CO~MUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
At 5:46 p.m., the Council recessed to the Downtown Development Commission
for adoption of the Minutes and subsequently to the Co~unity
Redevelopment Agency for action by the Agency.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
At 6:15 p.m., the Council reconvened with all members present and
immediately recessed to Executive Session. The Clerk of the Council
announced that the City Council w-as recessing to Executive Session
pursuant to Goverrment Code Section 54956.9(A) to confer with the City
Attorney regarding pending litigation which has been initiated formally
and to which the City is a party; to wit, People, etc. vs. Mitchell
Brothers Theatre and pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(C)
regarding a possible decision to initiate litigation.
At 7:00 p.m., the Council reconvened with all Councilmembers present.

ADJOURNMENT
At 7:05 p.m., the meeting w-as adjourned.
