OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
August 10, 1985
The meeting was called to order at 8:50 a.m., by Mayor Daniel E. Griset,
in the fifth floor conference room of the Santa Ana Regional
Transportation Center, 1000 East Santa Ana Boulevard. Councilmembers
present were John Acosta, Wilson B. Hart, P. Lee Johnson, R. W.
Luxembourger, Patricia A. McGuigan, Dan Young and Mayor Griset. Also
present were City Manager Robert C. Bobb, City Attorney Edward J. Cooper,
Clerk of the Council Janice C. Guy, and Richard Hughes, Facilitator for
the Council conference.
The Mayor requested staff members leave the room to permit informal
discussion ~uong the Councilmembers, with Hughes serving as Facilitator.
The City Manager, City Attorney and Clerk of the Council adjourned to the
lounge on the fourth floor. No minutes were taken regarding the Council's
informal discussion.
Discussion continued until 11:30 a.m., at which time the Council recessed
to participate in the City's Tenth Annual Antique Car Parade, followed by
lunch.
The City Manager left the meeting at 11:30 a.m.
At 2:33 p.m., infonnal diseussion resumed with all Councilmembers and the
Facilitator present.
At 5:00 p.m., the City Attorney left the meeting.
At 5:45 p.m., the Council recessed to dinner on the ground floor of the
Transportation Center.
Councilmember Luxembourger left the meeting at this time.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned by unanimous informal consent at 7:55 p.m. to
9:30 a.m., August 11, 1985, in the Regional Transportation Center, 1000
East Santa Ana Boulevard.
