November 25, 1985
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Daniel E. Griset at
5:50 p.m., in the Irvine Room of the Bowers Museu~n, 2002 N. Main St.
Councilmembers present were John Acosta, Wilson B. Hart, P. Lee
Johnson, R. W. Luxembourger, Patricia A. McGuigan, Dan Young, and
Mayor Griset. Also present were City Manager Robert C. Bobb, City
Attorney Edward J. Cooper and Clerk of the Council Janice C. Guy, as
well as members of the Muse~'s docent group, Judy Fluor-Runels,
Ruth Siegle, Litlian Kugler and Ginny Nishigaya, and representatives
of Loeb and Loeb.

Establish a Blue Ribbon Museum Planning Committee
of up to a maximum of ten members with appointments

Paul Apodaca explained the California Artist-in-Residence program and
presented a slide show of Emigdio Vasquez' work, the artist under
contract for the mural project on the exterior east wall of the main
gallery of the Musetra.

County history to 1936, to be painted on exterior east
wall of the main gallery of Bowers Muse~n.

announced the Clerk was recessing to Closed Session pursuant to
Government Code Section 54957.6 to meet with its designated
representatives regarding labor relations matters.
