THIS AME1IjDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT "Amendment," made and
entered into this ~ day ofOc,Gj(.M.: 2001, by and between the City of Santa Ana, a charter
city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("CITY") and Liebert-Cassidy-
Whitmore, a professional law corporation ("CONSULTANT").
WITNESSETH
Recitals:
A. CITY AND CONSULTANT entered into a Consultant Agreement, dated April
30,2001, by which CONSULTANT agreed to provide public employment legal training
(the "Agreement").
B. The Parties now desire to amend the Agreement to extend the time for completion
of the above services.
WHEREFORE, in consideration of their mutual and respective promises, and subject to
the terms and conditions of the Agreement as hereby amended, the parties hereby agree as
follows:
I. Section 3 of the Agreement is amended to read as follows:
"This Agreement shall commence on the date first written above and terminate on
June 30, 2002, unless terminated earlier in accordance with Section 12, below.
The term of this Agreement may be extended upon a writing executed by the
Executive Director of Personnel Services and the City Attorney."
2. Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of the Agreement
remain in full force and effect.

4 days of Training (Divided into half & full days) annually in various aspects of
public employment law, processes & procedures. Santa Ana employees are
eligible to attend based on the City's participation in an annual consortium
agreement.
LOCATION OF THE TRAINING:
City of Garden Grove Community Center and other municipal sites as necessary
DATES OF SERVICES
Dates are agreed upon by consortium members on an annual basis (see attached)
COMPENSATION
Annual consortium membership is $1,745.00
