FIRST AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT is made and entered
into this t9,~ day of March, 2001, by and between Susan Quinn dba the Quinn
Company, a California corporation (hereafter "CONSULTANT") and the City of Santa
Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California (hereafter
"CITY").
RECITALS:
1. CITY and CONSULTANT entered into an agreement dated February 6,2001,
(AGREEMENT) by which CONSULTANT agreed to provide employee training
in the Public Business Concepts Program and consulting services to CITY.
2. CITY and CONSULTANT wish to amend the AGREEMENT to allow
CONSULTANT to provide additional consulting services to City Agencies.
WHEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective covenants and promises
contained in the AGREEMENT, and subject to all ofthe terms and conditions of the
AGREEMENT, CITY and CONSULTANT agree as follows:
I. Exhibit A - Scope of Services shall be amended to include Exhibit A-I, the
proposal for consulting services to be provided to Community Preservation,
attached hereto.
2. Paragraph 2.a. shall be amended to read in full as follows:
"a. City agrees to pay, and Consultant agrees to accept as total payment for its
services, the rates and charges identified in Exhibit A. The total sum to be
expended under this Agreement, shall not exceed $30,000.00 during the term of
this Agreement."

IN WITNESS HEREOF, the CITY and CONSULTANT have executed this FIRST
AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT on the day and year first above
written.
