THIS AMENDMENT, made and entered into this 29th day of November 2000, by and between the City of
Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation duly organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of
the State of California ( "City "), and Esther Shaw ( "Consultant').
RECITALS
A. The City and Consultant entered into that certain Agreement dated August 30, 1999, entitled "Agreement for
Arts Instruction', hereinafter referred to as "said Agreement', to provide an after - school arts education program for
local children.
B. The parties hereto now desire to amend and expand the "Compensation' section of said Agreement to cover
reimbursement of contract-related expenses paid by Consultant in furtherance of said program.
WHEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective covenants and promises hereinafter contained and
made, and subject to all of the terms and conditions of said Agreement as hereby amended, the parties hereto do
hereby agree as follows:
1. The compensation clause shall be amended and expanded to include reimbursement of
contract - related expenditures made by Consultant during the contract term in an amount not to
exceed Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00). Consultant shall submit a detaiEd invoice which
clearly details such contract - related expenses.
2. Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of said Agreement remain unchanged and in
full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Amendment to said Agreement the date and
year first above written.
