RECOMMENDED ACTION
Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager and
Clerk of the Council to amend agreement A-2005-295 with Management Partners
Inc. for additional consulting services in an additional amount of $45,000,
for a total aggregate amount not to exceed $74,500.
DISCUSSION
The Fire Department currently has an agreement with Management Partners,
Inc. to evaluate the feasibility of creating a joint fire dispatch center
between Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, and Santa Ana. The Fire
Department needs additional analytical services that are outside of the
feasibili ty study. The Fire Department recommends increasing the current
Management Partners, Inc. agreement by $45,000 for their assistance in
gathering and disseminating information and developing the framework of a
long-term Strategic Plan.
