The Committee met four times and has developed a list of proposed amendments. The commj ttee has recommended to the full Council that a citizens I task force be appointed to review the committee's proposed amendments before being submitted to the full Council for consideration. The Task Force should be composed of fourteen persons, all registered voters of Santa Ana, with each Councilmember appointing two members to the Task Force. The Committee would lik" the Task Force to begin meeting by the first week of October and complete its work before Thanksgiving. The deadline for placing items on the Jun" 7006 Primary Election is February 21, 2006. FISCAL IMPACT There is no fiscal impact associated with this Qction. 65B
