RECOMMENDED ACTION
1. Award a contract to Fleming Environmental, Inc., the lowest
responsible bidder, in accordance with unit bid prices in the
estimated amount of $465,849 for construction of Corporate Yard
National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Improvements.
2. Approve a Funding Analysis with a total estimated construction cost
of $605,400.

components of the existing sewer line bypass system, new structures to
cover exposed material to prevent runoff into the city's storm drain
system, and a bird netting system to prevent accumulation of bird feces.
Once completed, the maintenance yard will operate in compliance with the
NPDES permit.
