MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY
AND
THE SANTA ANA WORK CENTER/WORKFORCE INVESTMENT BOARD
Purpose:
To describe the nature and evidence agreement between the City of Santa
Ana, Community Development Agency (CDA) and the Santa Ana WORK
Center/Workforce Investment Board in determining the services and fees for
locating its offices at The Depot at Santa Ana.
Term:
The Extended Term of this Agreement is July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007 with
one additional one-year extension by mutual agreement.
Terms and Conditions:
CDA has agreed to allow the Santa Ana WORK Center/Workforce Investment
Board (WIB) to occupy space within The Depot at Santa Ana, located at 1000
East Santa Ana Boulevard, Suite 200 and Suite 220, Santa Ana, CA 92701, for the
user fee of$II,012.44 per month. This fee is based on a rate of$1.41 per square
foot of 6634 square feet plus a common area maintenance fee of $0.25 per square
foot. This fee includes use of space, janitorial service and all utilities, except
telephones and any security equipment.
The user fee is due the first day of each month, payable to "The City of Santa
Ana". This fee will be deposited into The Depot Revenue Account No. 67-01-
5504.
Both parties are in agreement with the terms of this Memorandum of
Understanding dated as of July 1, 2006, and will implement it as set forth herein.
