Fletcher, City Attorney From: Carolyn Richard, Claims Admini at r Date: November 6, 2007 Re: Workers' Compensation Destruction of Rec ds In accordance with the citywide records retention adopted by the City Council and amended by resolution number 2006-045 in July, 2006, attached is an alphabetical list of indemnity and medical only claim files for 22 boxes of files ready to be destroyed. These files are at least 5 years old and/or are beyond the statute of limitations. We have no more room to house these 423 claim files. This is only a partial listing of files from A through G, and we will commence another destruction project next year. Please authorize the destruction of these records without need for microfiche.
