FIRST AMENDMENT TO
LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND
CLARA CASTANEDA
N-2007-091-01
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT, made and entered into this 1" day of January, 2009, by
and between the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation organized and
existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of California (hereinafter "Landlord") and
Clara Castaneda (hereinafter "Tenant").
RECITALS
A. The Landlord and Tenant entered into that certain Lease Agreement ("Agreement")
dated September 1, 2007 (N-2007-091), for Tenant to lease the property located at 921 N. Bristol
Street, Santa Ana, CA (APN #405-262-26).
B. The parties thereto now desire to extend the term and add a provision to said
Agreement.
WHEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective covenants and promises
hereinafter contained and made, and subject to all of the terms and conditions of said Agreement as
hereby amended, the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows:
1. The "Term of Lease" section of said Agreement (Section 3) is hereby
amended and extended through December 31, 2009.
2. The "General Provisions" section of said Agreement (Section 14) is hereby
amended to include the following provision:
"Tenancy is considered a post acquisition agreement between Landlord and Tenant, thus
Tenant is not entitled to any relocation benefits upon termination of this Lease
Agreement."
Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of said Agreement, remain
unchanged and in full force and effect.
TN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this First Amendment to Lease
Agreement the date and year first above written.
