6 CITIES OF FOUNTAIN VALLEY, HUNTINGTON BEACH, SANTA ANA, AND WESTMINSTER
7 FOR
8 EDINGER AVENUE REGIONAL TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYNCHRONIZATION PROGRAM PROJECT
9 THIS AMENDMENT NO. 1 is made and entered into this day of , 2025
10 (Effective Date), by and between the Orange County Transportation Authority, ("AUTHORITY") and the
11 cities of Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, Santa Ana, and Westminster (hereinafter referred to as
12 "PARTICIPATING AGENCIES").
13 RECITALS:
14 WHEREAS, by Cooperative Agreement No. C-0-2037 (Agreement) dated January 5, 2021,
15 AUTHORITY and PARTICIPATING AGENCIES entered into a cooperative agreement for the Edinger
16 Avenue Regional Traffic Signal Synchronization Program Project; and
17 WHEREAS, AUTHORITY and PARTICIPATING AGENCIES agree to extend the term of the
18 agreement for an additional twelve (12) months through June 30, 2026; and
19 WHEREAS, the City of Fountain Valley's City Council approved this Agreement on the
20 day of 2025.
21 WHEREAS, the City of Huntington Beach's City Council approved this Agreement on the
22 day of , 2025.
23 WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana approved this Agreement on the &3 day of
24 2025.
25 WHER , the City of Westminster's City Council approved this Agreement on the day
26 of_ 2025.

1 NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually understood and agreed that Agreement No. C-0-2037 is
2 hereby amended in the following particulars only:
3 1. Amend ARTICLE 9. ADDITIONAL,PROVISIONS, page 9 of 15, Paragraph A, line 12-13, to
4 delete "June 30, 2025", as the expiration date of the Agreement and, in lieu thereof, insert "June 30,
5 2026".
