HomeMy WebLinkAboutSANTA ANA WORK CENTER / WORKFORCE INVESTMENT BOARD 10 - 2009iNSURaNCE NOS i~t.~tlllKtU WORK MAY PROCEED CLERK OF COUNCIL O~T~JUL 2 1 2009 ;~ r» C~~) ~ • `' ~ ° ~ MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING ~ 1"'y ~uC~IC' BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND THE SANTA ANA WORK CENTER/WORKFORCE INVESTMENT BOARD Purpose: N-2009-080 To describe the nature and evidence agreement between the City of Santa Ana, Community Development Agency (CDA) and the Santa Ana WORK Center/Workforce Investment Board in determining the fees for locating its offices to operate the Summer Youth Program or any other WIA or American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) programs and activities at The Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center at Santa Ana. Term: The Term of this Agreement is a month-to-month tenancy beginning on April 1, 2009 and terminable with thirty (30) days prior written notice to the other party. Terms and Conditions: CDA has agreed to allow the Santa Ana WORK Center/Workforce Investment Board (WIB) to occupy space on the 1St floor of The Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center (4250 sq. ft. formerly occupied by Casa Santa Fe), located at 1000 East Santa Ana Boulevard, Santa Ana, CA 92701, for the user fee of $8,287.50 per month. This fee includes use of space, janitorial service and all utilities, except telephones and any security equipment. The user fee is due the first day of each month, payable to "The City of Santa Ana". Both parties are in agreement with the terms of this Memorandum of Understanding dated as of April 1, 2009, and will implement it as set forth herein. ATTEST: Patricia E.
