WHEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject to all
the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this Amendment to
Agreement, the parties agree as follows:
1. Section 1, SCOPE OF SERVICES, shall be amended to include additional grant review
services by adding a second paragraph which shall read, in full, as follows:
"In support of CLIENT'S effort to ensure adequate staffing and personnel to
carry out CLIENT'S public safety and security strategies, CONSULTANT shall
provide a technical and substantive review of CLIENT'S FY 09 Competitive
Law Enforcement Assistance Grants and provide written and oral feedback to
CLIENT following the review. There shall be no travel by CONSULTANT in
the provision of such Services."
2. Section 3, PAYMENT FOR SERVICES, shall be amended to increase compensation by
$2,500.00, to pay for the additional services. The total not to exceed amount shall be
increased to $12,500.00.
3. Section 4, TERM, shall be amended to extend the term through June 30, 2009.
4. Except as hereinabove amended, all terms and conditions of said Agreement shall remain in
full force and effect.
THIS AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is entered into on March 31, 2009, by and

between Filler Security Strategies, Inc. ("CONSULTANT") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter
city and municipal corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the
State of California ("CLIENT").

A. The parties entered into that certain Agreement N-2009-001, dated January 8, 2009,

(hereinafter "said Agreement") by which CONSULTANT has provided grant review
v
services.
B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to amend the
Scope of Services, and increase compensation and extend the term of said Agreement.
WHEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject to all
the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this Amendment to
Agreement, the parties agree as follows:
