PUBLIC COMMENTS SECOND: Russo Arjonilla, Bacigalupo, Bloom-Ramos, Harita, Hernandez, Martinez, Russo, Santana, (8) None (0) None (0) Calderon, Carricchi, Fogarty, Metzler, Phares, Rama, Ream, Reyna, Yam (9) COMMENTS Ava Staeffens, representative from KidWorks, Inc., provided a brief presentation on the Empowerment Zone funded AduRWorks program offered at their facility, and invited the Board to the upcoming annual fundraising event. ~,,.. 6. 7 Mike Murtaugh, representative for the Cambodian Family, referenced an article published in the Orange County Register on their employee being awarded the Calffornia Peace Prize. He also gave a presentation on the status of the two Cambodian Family programs funded by the SAEC and their impact on the community. Mr. Murtaugh provided the Boardmembers with a tour of the recently acquired operations facility and explained the use of the facility related to providing services to the community. STAFF MEMBER COMMENTS Deborah Sanchez reported on recent correspondence with the Housing Urban Development and discussed the future calendar for the Federal Empowerment Zone.
