FIRST AME DMENT TO PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION SERVICES AGREEMENT
WITH SUSAN aAXE-CLIFFORD,Pl I)
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT to the above-referenced agreement is entered into an September 9,2025 by
and between Susan Saxe-Clifford, Ph.D. ("Consultant") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and
municipal corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of California
("City"),
RECITALS
A. The parties entered into Agreement ffA-2022-191, dated October 4, 2022 ("Agreement") by which
Consultant agreed to provide psychological evaluation and counseling services for the City City`s Police
Department. The term of the Agreement runs through September 30,2025 with the option to extend the
Agreement for up to two(2)one(1)year renewals. The Agreement is current and in-effect.
B_ The parties now wish to exorcise the first option to extend the Agreement for an additional one-year
period and amend the Agreement to increase the overall compensation. No other changes are
contemplated by this First Amendment.
C. This first amendment is prepared for approval by the City Manager under his authority provided in
Santa Ana Municipal Code Section 2-748(a),
The Parties therefore agree:
1. Section 2.a.,Compensation,is amended to increase the overall compensation by$5,000. The total
amount to be expended under the terns of this Agreement, including any extensions exercised by
the parties,shall not exceed$17,000.
2. Pursuant to Section 3,Term,the parties agree to exercise the first of two(2)available one-year
options to extend the term of the Agreement through September 30,2026.
3. Except as modified by this First Amendment,all terms and conditions of the Agreement shall
remain in full force and effect.
