THIS FIRST AMENDMENT to the above-referenced agreement is entered into November 1, 2025 by and
between the City of Irvine, a chat-ter city and municipal corporation duly organized and existing Mulder the
Constitution and laws of the State of California(hereinafter"Agency"),and the City of Santa Ana, a charter
city and municipal corporation duly organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of
California(hereinafter "City").
RECITALS
A. The parties entered into an Agreement No.N.-2024-347 dated October 1,2024 ("Agreement")
by which City agreed to house detainees held in custody by the Irvine Police Department for
violation of California Penal Code §647(f),being under the influence of alcohol,drugs or other
controlled substance(hereinafter"§647(f)detainees").The Agreement runs through September
30, 2027 and is current and in effect.
B. The parties now seek to amend the Agreement to include the housing of females charged Colder
Penal Code 647(f)with citable misdemeanor warrants.
The Parties therefore agree:
I. Section 2, Scope of Services, is amended to City agrees to provide the housekeeping, safekeeping
and subsistence of female 647(f) detainees, including those with citable misdemeanor warrants, of
Agency in accordance with this Agreement. Except those female detainees with citable warrants
involving violence, a firearm, or resisting arrest.
2. Except as modified by this First Amendment,all other terms and conditions of the Agreement shall
remain in frill force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this First Amendment to the Agreement on
the date and year first written above.
