Response/Day: 5.52 #3 #5 #6 Community Engagement - 2025 Investment in Technology •New Apparatus: 3 Fire Engines (E71, E73, E74) •New Self -Contained Breathing Apparatus •New Cardiac (Heart) Monitors Community Risk Reduction Total Fire, Life & Safety Inspections assigned to crews 2,096 Total Completed 1,319 63% Completion prior to July 1 Service Overview Recap – Qtr. 1 Community Engagement – Qtr. 1 Community Engagement •Smoke Alarm Event – 10 Year Anniversary in partnership with American Red Cross •Installation of 340 smoke alarms among 3 Mobile Home Parks in Ward 5 Community Engagement – Smoke Alarm Event Community Engagement – Smoke Alarm Event Major Incidents •On January 15, 2026 at 12:53 PM crews responded to a residential kitchen fire •Elderly woman was evacuated by UPS driver and transported to the hospital •Fire controlled within 30 minutes Residential Kitchen Fire Major Incidents •On March 6, 2026 at 6:55 PM crews responded to a Second Alarm Fire at a Commercial Building •All occupants were evacuated •Fire controlled with structural roof damage •One patient treated for smoke inhalation 2nd Alarm Fire Major Incidents •On March 13, 2026 at 2:04 PM crews responded to a Commercial Structure Fire with Roof Extension •Fire originated in a tortilla oven and extended to the roof •OCFA used drones to assist with quick containment and extinguishment. No injuries.
