On Monday, July 2, 2018, at approximately 0253 hours, Santa Ana Police Department
(SAPD) Detective JUSTO CAPACETE and I conducted a digital audio recorded interview of Orange
County Global Medical Center (OCGMC) Registered Nurse (RN) in reference to the
SAPD officer involved shooting of DONADONY TAYLOR. The following is a summary of the
interview that is not verbatim or necessarily in order of the conversation, but organized for the
purpose of clarity. Refer to the audio recording for exact quotes, comments and statements.
On July 1, 2018, at 2353 hours, RN was on duty as a Trauma Clinician at
OCGMC. The Critical Trauma Team consisting of a trauma doctor, an anesthesiologist, a
respiratory therapist, a trauma clinician, an emergency room RN, an Emergency Medical
Technician, a radiology technician and laboratory technician was activated. Orange County Fire
Authority (OCFA) Engine #71 notified them of a patient in the field, later identified as TAYLOR

who had been shot once in the chest and once in the left bicep. TAYLOR was in full arrest and
Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) was in progress.
At 0011 hours, TAYLOR arrived at OCGMC. CPR was continued .

hours.
