On Monday, July 2, 2018, at approximately 0420 hours, Santa Ana Police Department
(SAPD) Detective ANDY GARCIA and I conducted a digital audio recorded interview of
regarding the SAPD officer involved shooting of DONADONY BLAKE TAYLOR. The
following is a summary of the interview:
is a steam cleaner contracted to maintain the parking structure. and
his partner, , were on their lunch break seated inside their car which was parked
on the fourth floor of the parking structure. had headphones on while watching a movie
on his phone. did not hear any sirens or any gunshots. were
approached by an SAPD police officer and were asked to go to SAPD to provide a witness
statement.
