In light of the May 151 rallies that were aired on the evening news, I am wondering why Santa Ana has not made
E-Verify Mandatory for ALL Employers within the City Limits?
As you must already be aware, Arizona passed their E-Verify Requirement Law in 2007. We need to punish
Employers that knowingly hire Illegal Immigrants. E-Verify is a tool supported by our Federal Government in
doing just that.
I am also very disappointed that 85A on tonights agenda is even being considered. Santa Ana is not the model
city of America. I urge you to vote NO on Agenda Item 85A regarding Arizonas SB-1070.
I support Arizona in at least making an attempt to do something about the Illegal Immigration problem in our
country. It is long overdo for Santa Ana to do something about it too.
