I am writing to express support for Agenda Item #11, Travel Santa Ana Annual Report.
Travel Santa Ana plays an important role in driving visitation and generating economic impact for the city.
Their strategic marketing efforts, partnerships, and community engagement initiatives continue to elevate
Santa Ana’s profile as a vibrant cultural destination.
From an aviation and travel industry perspective, and as a member of the marketing advisory group, John
Wayne Airport supports the ongoing collective efforts of the organization. In 2025, Santa Ana experienced
strong visitor activity, a reflection of the vital role tourism plays in supporting regional economic health.
Equally important, these efforts elevate Santa Ana as a destination, enhancing the region’s appeal to travelers
and reinforcing its value within the broader aviation and tourism ecosystem. By authentically showcasing the
city’s arts, culture, culinary offerings, and distinct neighborhoods, Travel Santa Ana strengthens both
community identity and market positioning.
As a member of the Travel Santa Ana Marketing Advisory Group, we encourage continued support of the
destination marketing organization’s mission and initiatives.

I am writing to express my support for Agenda Item #11, Travel Santa Ana Annual Report.
Travel Santa Ana plays an integral role in driving visitation and generating economic impact for our great city.
Their strategic marketing efforts, partnerships, and community engagement initiatives continue to elevate
Santa Ana’s profile as a vibrant cultural destination.
The results of these efforts are evident. In 2025, Santa Ana welcomed increased visitor activity, contributing to
approximately $404.5 million in visitor spending and generating $13.8 million in local tax revenue—
demonstrating the tangible economic benefits of tourism to the community. These dollars directly support local
businesses, jobs, and essential city services.
As a member of Travel Santa Ana’s Board of Directors and Executive Board, I support its efforts to continue to
help enhance Santa Ana!

As a member of the Travel Santa Ana Board and the current Chair, I recognize the organization for its leadership and
fully support its ongoing mission.
