INSURANCE NOT ON FILE N-2026-147 <br /> WAK MAY NOT PROCEED <br /> CITY CLERK <br /> SATE, <br /> SUN 2 5 2026 <br /> 010(m) <br /> M-S0(QA50h W-) AGREEMENT BETWEEN ADLERHORST INTERNATIONAL,LLC AND THE CITY <br /> OF SANTA ANA TO PROVIDE K-9 TRAINING AND BOARDING SERVICES <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 27th day of May, 2026 by and between <br /> Adlerhorst International, Inc., a California Limited Liability Company, (hereinafter <br /> "Consultant"), and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation organized <br /> and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of California(hereinafter "City"). <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. The City desires to retain a consultant having special skill and knowledge in the field of <br /> providing police K-9 training for both police dogs and police K-9 handlers and boarding. <br /> B. In undertaking the performance of this Agreement, Consultant represents it is <br /> knowledgeable in its field and that any services performed by Consultant under this <br /> Agreement will be performed in compliance with such standards as may reasonably be <br /> expected from a professional consultant in this field. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and subject to the <br /> terms and conditions hereinafter set forth,the parties agree as follows: <br /> L SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Consultant shall perform during the term of this Agreement, the tasks and obligations <br /> including all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidental customary work required to fully <br /> and adequately complete the services to provide monthly training for police K-9s and their <br /> handlers, basic handler training as required for new K-9 handlers,Narcotic detection training for <br /> K-9s and handlers as needed,boarding and miscellaneous equipment. <br /> 2. COMPENSATION <br /> a. City agrees to pay, and Consultant agrees to accept as total payment for its services, _ <br /> the rates and charges, attached hereto as Exhibit A, for services confirmed in writing <br /> by the City. In addition, the budget detailed below is provided for approxunate costs <br /> during the term of the Agreement. The total sum to be expended under this Agreement <br /> shall not exceed$49,900 during the two-year term of this Agreement as follows: <br /> Description of Services Costs <br /> Training $31,000 <br /> Boarding $1,900 <br /> Equipment $17,000 <br /> TOTAL: $49,900 <br />
