Approve an appropriation adjustment recognizing revenues from the State of California in the
amount of $13,442 in 15% (ARRA) Incentive Award funds for the Workforce Investment Act
programs.
DISCUSSION
The State of California has awarded two Incentive Awards to the Santa Ana Workforce Investment
Board (WIB) for exceeding performance goals in Program Year 2007-08 and 2008-09. Although
the funds are from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and must comply with
ARRA regulations, they are not limited to use in the ARRA program. These funds will be used to
cover miscellaneous expenses for the WIB.
FISCAL IMPACT
Upon approval of the appropriation adjustment, funds will be available in the ARRA Admin -
Professional Contractual Services account (no. 12318758-62300).
