RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the minutes of the regular meeting of May 11, 2009.
B. RECORDING SECRETARY REPORT
Pursuant to the Brown Act, the May 11, 2009 Notice for the Regular Meeting was
posted on the door of the City Hall Council Chambers at 22 Civic Center Plaza
on May 8, 2009 at 8:37 a.m.
Pursuant to the Brown Act, the May 26, 2009 Cancellation Notice for the Regular
Meeting was posted on the door of the City Hall Council Chambers at 22 Civic
Center Plaza on May 22, 2009 at 8:26 a.m.
RECOMMENDATION:
Instruct the Commission Secretary to enter posting into the minutes.

C. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2009-05
Filed by Chris Alfaro, to allow a Type 47 ABC license (on-premise sale of beer,
wine and distilled spirits) at the Crosby Restaurant at 400 North Broadway Street
located in the Central Business (C3) zoning district.
RECOMMENDATION:
Confirm the Zoning Administrator's action approving Conditional Use Permit No.
2009-05 as conditioned.
MOTION: Remove item C from Consent Calendar and schedule for public hearing.

SAPD Officer Pena provided information on crime rate, percentage of revenue
from food sales, dancing and music restrictions and confirmation that the
applicant has maintained a bona fide restaurant.

Commissioner Betancourt announced she will be absent for the June 22
meeting.
Vice Chair Alderete requested that Public Works conduct an inspection on the
road conditions from Memory Lane near Bristol Street.
5. Excuse of Absences
Commissioner Yrarrazaval moved to excuse the absence of Commissioner
Turner. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Mill and approved by a vote
of 6-0.
