HomeMy WebLinkAbout2005-77RESOLUTION NO. 2005-77 • A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING SITE PLAN REVIEW NO. 2005-06 AS CONDITIONED FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 301 MAIN PLACE DRIVE WHICH IS WITHIN SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT NO. 65 (SD- 65) KO -11 /22/05 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: A. The Applicant is requesting approval to install a new 82-foot high Delta III rocket within the Specific Development No.65 (SD-65) zoning district at 301 Main Place Drive. B. Section 41-593.5(c) of the Santa Ana Municipal Code requires a review by the Planning Commission of all plans within a specific development plan area to ensure the project is in conformity with the Specific Plan. C. Site Plan Review No. 2005-06 came before the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana on November 28, 2005. D. The project is in compliance with all applicable development standards outlined within the Specific Development Plan (SD-65). E. This project was reviewed in accordance with the Guidelines for the California Environmental Quality Act. The recommendation is to exempt the project from further review pursuant to Section 15332. This Class 32 exemption allows the permitting of in-fill development projects. Categorical Exemption Environmental Review No. 2005-126 will be filed for this project. Section 2. The Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana hereby approves Site Plan Review No. 2005-06 as conditioned in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein. Date: ~~~~aC, `05 Planning Commission Secretary City of Santa Ana • Resolution No. 2005-77 Page 2 of 2 Conditions for Approval for Site Plan Review No. 2005-06 • Site Plan Review No. 2005-06 is approved subject to compliance, to the reasonable satisfaction of the Planning Commission, with all applicable sections of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, the California Administrative Code, the Uniform Fire Code, the Uniform Building Code and all other applicable regulations. The applicant must comply in full with each and every condition listed below prior to exercising the rights conferred by this site plan review. The applicant must remain in compliance with all conditions listed below throughout the life of the Site Plan Review. Failure to comply with each and every condition may result in the revocation of the site plan review. A. Planning Division 1. The project shall remain in compliance with Development Project No. 2003-66 and Site Plan Review No. 2005-06. 2. Any amendment to this site plan must be submitted to the Planning Division for review. At that time, staff will determine if administrative relief is available or the conditional use permit must be amended. • 3. Prior to issuance of building permits for the Delta III Rocket, all outstanding conditions from the Public Works Agency need to be complied with. 5. No signs may be affixed to or hung on the rocket, nor may it be used as signage for the Discovery Science Center. B. Police Department 1. The applicant shall be responsible for maintaining the rocket free of graffiti. All graffiti shall be removed within 24 hours of occurrence. • Exhibit "A"
