A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING SITE
PLAN REVIEW NO. 01-02 TO ALLOW EXTERIOR
MODIFICATIONS AND EXPANSION OF EXISTING
SENIOR COMPLEX LOCATED AT 410 WEST FIRST
STREET
WHEREAS, Santa Ana Municipal Code section 41-593.5(c) requires the Planning
Commission to review all plans within a Specific Development Plan area to ensure that the project
conforms with the approved Specific Plan;
WHEREAS, the applicant, Santa Ana Senior Housing Limited Partnership, proposes to
modify and expand the building area of the Santa Ana Towers senior apartments located at401
West First Street in Specific Development No. 1; and
WHEREAS, Site Plan Review No. 01-02 came before the Planning Commission for a
public hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. Based u on the evidence submitted at the abovesaid hearin the Plannin Commission

finds and determines that Site Plan Review No. OI-02 is in keeping with the neighborhood and
conforms with the specifications and requirements of Specific Development No. 1.
2. Site Plan Review No. 01-02 is hereby approved, subject to conditions, as set forth in
Attachment A, attached hereto and incorporated herein
ADOPTED this 11th day of.Iune, 2001 by the following vote:
AYES: Commissioners Mondo, Nalle, Verino, Doughty and Leo (5)
NOES: None
ABSENT: Commissioners Cribb and Richardson (2)
ABSTENTIONS: None

Conditions of Approval
Site Plan Review No. 2001-02 is approved subject to compliance, to the
reasonable satisfaction of the Planning Manager, with applicable sections
of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, the California Administrative Code, the
Uniform Fire Code, the Uniform Building Code, and all other applicable
regulations. In addition, it shall meet the following conditions of
approval:
The applicant must comply with each and every condition listed below rior
to exercising the rights conferred by this site plan review.
The applicant must remain in compliance with all conditions listed below
throughout the life of the development project. Failure to comply with
each and every condition may result in the revocation of the site plan
review approval.
A. Planning Division
1. The project must remain in compliance with the project's Site
Plan Review comments (DP No. 01-30).
