A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING THE
REQUEST FOR MODIFICATIONS TO THE
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL FOR VARIANCE N0.
96-05 PERTAINING TO THE RIVERVIEW WEST
MARKETPLACE LOCATED AT 3700-3799 WEST
MCFADDEN AVENUE
WHEREAS, on January 6, 1997, the City Council approved
Variance No. 96-05, with conditions, to allow variances from the
zoning code standards pertaining to signage for the Riverview West
Marketplace; and
WHEREAS, the applicant seeks to change condition 3f in
Variance No. 96-05, which limits use of the sign to tenants with
store sizes of 10,000 square feet or larger;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. Condition 3f, previously approved in Variance 96-05, is
hereby modified as follows:
3f. The maximum number of tenant identification signs shall
t not exceed six (Wal*Mart and five tenants, not including
center name). All panels shall be used exclusively by
tenants with store sizes of 5,000 square feet or larger.
