RESOLUTION NO. 97-26
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING SITE
PLAN REVIEW NO. 97-02 TO CONSTRUCT A
NEW AUTO SERVICE BUILDING FOR THE
EXISTING CHRYSLER/PLYMOUTH DEALERSHIP
LOCATED AT 1405 AUTO MALL DRIVE
WHEREAS, the subject property is located at 1405 Auto Mall
Drive, within the Specific Development No. 60 zoning district,
also known as the Santa Ana Auto Mall; and
WHEREAS, the applicant desires to construct a 3,388 square
foot automobile service building to the existing Chrysler/Plymouth
automobile dealership; and
WHEREAS, in order to proceed with the construction, the
proposed service building must conform with the existing
dealership development, the 1995 California Building Code and the
Specific Development No. 60 Guidelines; and
WHEREAS, the proposed site plan came before the Planning
Commission for review and recommendations on the Consent Calendar
of the December 8, 1997, meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. Based upon the evidence submitted at the abovesaid
meeting this Commission finds and determines as follows:
That the site plan, as proposed, is compatible with the
architectural character and design criteria for styles found in
Specific Development No. 60 and will not be detrimental to the
harmonious development of the City or impair the desirability of
investment or occupation in the Santa Ana Auto Mall.
2. Site Plan Review No. 97-02 is hereby approved, as
proposed in Attachment A, attached hereto and incorporated herein.
