DISCUSSION RELATED TO CODE OF ETHICS AND CONDUCT - Managing Senior Assistant City Attorney Jose Sandoval facilitated a discussion regarding the development of a value based code for the City of Santa Ana. The Historic Resources Commission was encouraged to provide input on the Ad Hoc Committee's chart on "Ethics Code Menu Values." Vice Chair Dickman provided a handout entitled "Ballot Title and Summary" from City of Santa Monica. CONSENT CALENDAR MOTION: Approve the staff recommendations on the following Consent Calendar. RECOMMENDATION: Recommend that the City Council authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute the attached agreement with Yvonne N. Historic Resources Commission Minutes 4 May 1, 2008 STAFF AND COMMISSION COMA~IENTS 4. Staff Comments Assistant City Attorney Otto announced that she and her husband are expecting a daughter the end of September. Principal Planner Klotz announced that Commissioner Seeley will be resigning ' from the Historic Resources Commission. Associate Planner Soboleske provided an update on the grant from the Office of Historic Preservation and announced the Wilshire Square Garden Tea Social on May 3. 5. Historic Resources Commission Comments Both Chairman Schaefer and Commissioner Chinn announced they will not attend the June meeting as they will be out of town. 6. Excuse of Absences Commissioner Stroud made a motion to excuse Commissioners Bustamante and Seeley. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Rogers and unanimously approved by the Historic Resources Commission. 7.
