RECOMMENDED ACTION
Receive and file the Quarterly Report of Contracts entered into between July 1, 2010 and
September 30, 2010, valued at $25,OOD and less.
DISCUSSION
On October 6, 2D08, the Housing Authority increased the Executive Director's authority to execu#e
agreements from an amount not to exceed $1D,ODD to $25,DOD. Agreements valued at greater
than $25,000 require approval by the Board of Directors. This is the same authority granted to the
City Manager by the voters through a Charter Amendment in November of 20D6. The authority
granted to the Executive Director required the submission of a quarterly report {Exhibit 1) to the
Housing Authority at a public meeting on all such agreements. The report is required to include
the names of contractors and the amounts of each contract.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact associated with this action.
