Dear Mayor Pulido,
I am emailing you today to ask if you can hold a special council meeting.
This past Tuesday, I took a vote on a matter I should have not taken action
on. I was under the impression I could vote on this item because it was a
general item on all soccer organizations who particpate and not on a
particular organization who I received a contribution from some time ago.
Furthermore, after speaking with our attorney Joe Fletcher , it is clear that
I should have not casted my vote on this item. This is why I am asking you to
hold a special meeting to re take the vote on this item. I'm not sure if this
is the appropriate action but I want to make sure re send my vote immediately
so I can rectify this problem immediately. Please have staff contact me and
let me know what steps we need to take to resolved this issue.
FYI, I have also contacted my Treasurer and have asked them to re send the
check back to the Soccer Organization. I am a very ethical person and don't
want to give any perception that I am not and this is why I am taking these
swift steps to clear any wrong doing on my part. I appreciate your assistance
with this issue immediately.
