RESOLUTION NO. 2011-058
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR
GRANT FUNDS FOR THE PEPPERDINE UNIVERSITY
DAVENPORT INSTITUTE 2011 COMMUNITY
ENGAGEMENT GRANT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines
and declares that the 2011 Community Engagement Grant is administered by the
Pepperdine University Davenport Institute. The goal of the Community Engagement
Grant is to assist cities, and other agencies, in legitimately engaging the public to create
solutions to policy issues.
Section 2. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby approves the
City's grant application for the Pepperdine University Davenport Institute 2011
Community Engagement Grant and authorizes the City Manager to execute all
necessary documents related to the Grant Application, including actions necessary to
accept the Grant if approved.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by
the City Council, and the Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the vote adopting
this Resolution.
