RESOLUTION NO. 99-01
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
THE EXTENSION TO THE ANNUAL
CONTRIBUTIONS CONTRACT NO. SF503
PROJECT NO. CA16-8023-054
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana has previously entered into a Section 8
Housing Assistance Payments Program Annual Contributions Contract, part I for New Construction for
Project No, CA16-8023-054 with the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, acting by and through the Secretary
of Housing and urban Development ("Government"), and now proposes to renew said Contract for the
period specified in the Renewal Contract; and
WHEREAS, the Authority has determined, pursuant to Section 34292 of the Health and Safety Code
of the State of California (the "Housing Authorities Law") that the execution of the renewal contract, and the
adoption of this resolution is an "emergency matter" within the meaning of the Housing Authorities Law
without benefit of the review by or recommendations of the Redevelopment and Housing Commission,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PUBLIC HOUSING AGENCY AS FOLLOWS:
1, The proposed extension to the Housing Assistance Payments Contract for Project No, CA 16-
8023-054, is hereby approved and accepted both as to form and substance, and the Executive Director of
the Housing Authority is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Amendment in three counterparts
on behalf of the Santa Ana Housing Authority and to forward such executed counterparts to the
. Government, along with such other documents evidencing the approval and authorizing the execution
thereof as may be required by the Government.

This Resolution shall take effect immediately,
