Mayor and City Council
Chief and City Manager Paul Walters
We can envision our property values rising today!!!!! You must be so proud to advertise that we may or may not have
chickens next to our back fence. We have the lowest property values in the county and you entertain a chicken ordinance.
We hope no one reads the Orange County Register.
What you should be doing is something about the nastiness we now have next to our back fences and in the parks and on
public sidewalks.
You refuse to do anything about the barking dogs, the dog feces on the sidewalks, in our yards, at the park and anywhere
else it is left. The light standard and concrete base at Birch and Aurora is yellow with urine.
Cats are free to crap in our yards and pee in our flower beds.
Fleas-no one does anything in the yards to eradicate fleas and flies. We did not use to have so many flies until we got all
the dogs.
Why don't you walk around and do a dog license check?????With all the wild animals in our yards, dogs are subjected to
rabies and other diseases.
Chickens, dogs, cats, fleas, feces, raccoons, coyotes, low property values, but no smoking in parks. You must be really
proud..
If I do not make sense in my note it is because all the dogs are barking in unison

Subject: Chicken Ordinance
Mr. Jeff McMillan called to express his support of the less restrictive ordinance and wanted me to relay the message
over to the City Council.
Also, a female resident that didn't identify herself opposes the proposed ordinance as she believes chickens are noisy
and dirty, and bringing them in closer proximity to other homes is bad policy.
