Approve the Funding Analysis for a total estimated construction cost of $52,900. DISCUSSION The Master Plan for the Santiago Park Nature Reserve Area includes a wildlife and watershed center, an outdoor amphitheatre, and a native habitat with a vernal pool. All of the facilities were completed in 2008 and 2009 with the exception of the vernal pool. The Santiago Park Vernal Pool Project completes the native habitat area by adding a lined vernal pool, irrigation, and native landscaping to create an environment conducive to native species (Exhibit 1 ). These improvements will complement the existing facilities and enhance the educational programming. Funding was made available through the State of California Riparian and Riverine Habitat Grant Program. The Notice Inviting Bids was advertised on April 18 and 19, 2012 and bids were opened on May 9, 2012.
