A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY (~_~TE:
SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING A TECHNOLOGY
COMMITTEE OF THE CITY COUNCIL
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares as follows:
A. By Resolution No 98-091, the City Council created eight (8) Council
Committees for the purpose of focusing greater Council attention on key priorities
coming before the Council in the future.
B. By Resolution No 99-069, the City Council amended Resolution No. 98-
091 to reorganize and create six (6) Council Committees.
C. By Resolution No. 2001-016, the City Council amended, and in part
repealed, these resolutions to reorganize and create six (6) Council Committees
in order to improve efficiency and productivity of the Committee process.
D. The City Council seeks to amend Resolution No. 2001-016 to establish a
seventh (7th) Council Committee.
Section 2. From and after the date hereof, in addition to the six (6) Council
Committees created pursuant to Resolution No. 2001-016, there shall be created and
established a Technology Committee of the City Council.
Section 3. Except as expressly amended herein, Resolution No. 2001-016
shall remain in full force and effect for all purposes.
