RECOMMENDED ACTION
Direct the Agency General Counsel to prepare and authorize the Executive
Director to execute an agreement with E -Net Data Solutions LLC to perform
various computer programming and other support services in an amount not
to exceed $75,000.
DISCUSSION
E -Net Data Solutions LLC has provided computer network support and
maintenance of the following Agency functions: database design,
application software and hardware for stand -alone functions, and
networking and microcomputer functions. Additionally, they provide on-
going training to the Agency's microcomputer users. E -Net Data
Solutions LLC has assigned Mr. Jorge Juan to work as an assistant and
backup to the Agency's contractual systems administrator on the daily
information systems needs and other network requirements of the Agency.
The Agency proposes to continue the existing contract with E -Net Data
Solutions LLC in an amount not to exceed $75,000 at a rate of $45 per
hour. Based on a survey of the market compensation for information
services consultants and database designer /administrators, the proposed
contract rate falls in the 50th percentile for Orange County computer
professionals.

FISCAL IMPACT
Funds for the contract are available in the Housing Set -Aside and
Redevelopment Administrative accounts (account nos. 504 -508 -6291, 504-
509 -6291, 530 - 933 -6291, 540 - 935 -6291, 550 - 932 -6291, 550 - 933 -6291 and 550-
935 -6291 respectively).
