PUBLIC COMMENT
*
In accordance with the City Council’s Rules and Procedures, the City has called this Special
Meeting after 8 Community Meetings for the purpose of providing the City Council an opportunity
to discuss the Draft 5-Year Strategic Plan. The staff will take Council’s input in preparing a
recommended Strategic Plan that will be presented at a regular City Council Meeting.
For that reason, the City will allow for one-hour of public input on the agendized item only. The
presider of the meeting will determine time limits on speakers based on the number of people
and
wishing to speak when input will be taken.*
All requests to speak shall be submitted in writing to the Clerk of the Council at the beginning of
the meeting and before Public Comments begin. Speaker forms will be available at the meeting.
REQUESTS TO SPEAK SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE PUBLIC COMMENT
SESSION BEGINS WITHOUT PERMISSION OF THE CHAIR.
When speaking, all persons
addressing the City Council shall follow the rules of decorum. The presiding officer shall have the
power and responsibility to enforce decorum and order of the meeting as set forth in Section 2-
104(c) of the Santa Ana Municipal Code.
ADJOURNMENT
- The next regular meeting of the City Council is scheduled for Tuesday,
March 4, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. for the Closed Session Meeting immediately
followed by the Regular Open Business Meeting at 5:45 p.m. in the
Council Chamber, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California.
