HomeMy WebLinkAbout05/08/2013ZONING ADMINISTRATOR HEARING MINUTES MAY 8, 2013 CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2013 -08 10:37 a.m. Mr. Sergio Klotz, Zoning Administrator, called to order the public hearing in the City Hall Ross Annex Conference Room 2001. Also in attendance were: Antonio Tejeda, Joe Rodriguez and Julio Gener, Applicants; Ali Pezeshkpour, Assistant Planner; Mike McCoy, Police Department; Ryan Hodge and Leticia Ramirez, City Attorney; and Jocelyn Magalona, Recording Secretary. There were no written communications. Mr. Pezeshkpour presented the staff report and recommendation for approval. Mr. McCoy clarified Condition No. 14 regarding entertainment which once adopted by City Council, a permit will be required. Mr. McCoy also noted Condition No. 20 that the lighting and parking standards be up to code prior to the issuance of a letter of approval to the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board. Discussion ensued regarding the parking lot and unpermitted signs. Condition No. 20 was amended to limit the parking and lighting standards within 60 feet of the tenant space and added language that applications for sign permits must be submitted for any unpermitted signage within the center prior to the issuance of a letter of approval to the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board. The applicants stated their approval with all of the conditions. The Zoning Administrator adopted a resolution approving Conditional Use Permit No. 2013 -08 with an amended condition.
