CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2012 -06
10:38 a.m.
Mr. Sergio Klotz, Zoning Administrator, called to order the public hearing in the City Hall
Ross Annex Conference Room 2001.
Also in attendance were: Carlos Guaman, Applicant; Ali Pezeshkpour, Planning Intern;
Mike McCoy and Eileen Greene, Police Department; Ryan Hodge, City Attorney; and
Jocelyn Magalona, Recording Secretary.
Ali Pezeshkpour presented the staff report and recommendation for approval.
There were no written communications.
Mike McCoy noted Police Condition No. 15 and separated the review period
requirement from the lighting standards requirement and numbered it as Police
Condition No. 23.
The Zoning Administrator inquired if the applicant has reviewed and agreed to all of the
conditions. Carlos Guaman stated his agreement to all of the conditions.
The Zoning Administrator stated the applicant is in compliance but noted sign violations
at the center the business is located in. Granting of a conditional use permit requires
Santa Ana Municipal Code compliance. Since the conditional use permit is issued to
the property and not the business, the item was continued to address code violations
with the property owner before the Zoning Administrator makes a decision.
The Zoning Administrator continued Conditional Use Permit No. 2012 -06 to
May 1, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the City Hall Ross Annex, Second Floor Conference Room
2001, 20 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California 92701.
The hearing adjourned at 11:05 a.m.
