CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2012 -12
10:39 a.m.
Mr. Sergio Klotz, Zoning Administrator, called to order the public hearing in the City Hall
Ross Annex Conference Room 2001.
Also in attendance were: Bob Quinn and Jarred Dooley, Applicants; Darren Shippen,
Morrison Neighborhood Resident; Yolanda Lawler, Downtown Inc.; Hally Soboleske,
Associate Planner; Eileen Greene and Mike McCoy, Police Department; Ryan Hodge,
City Attorney; and Jocelyn Magalona, Recording Secretary.
There were no written communications.
Ms. Soboleske presented the staff report and recommendation for approval.
Mr. Shippen and Ms. Lawler stated their support for the project.
Police Condition 21 was amended to allow alcohol service inside the establishment until
2:00 a.m. and until 1:30 a.m. in the patio.
Police Condition 22 was added that prohibits a fixed bar or lounge area for the sole
purpose of sales, service and consumption of alcohol.
Discussion and clarification was made regarding the floor plan, drop safe and employee
presence at the patio area.
The Zoning Administrator inquired if the applicant understood and agreed to all of the
conditions. The applicant stated his agreement to all of the conditions.
The Zoning Administrator adopted a resolution approving Conditional Use Permit No.
2012 -12 with amended conditions.
The hearing adjourned at 10:52 a.m.
