HomeMy WebLinkAbout05/18/2011ZONING ADMINISTRATOR HEARING MINUTES MAY 18, 2011 CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2011 -07 11:24 a.m. Mr. Sergio Klotz, Zoning Administrator, called to order the public hearing in the City Hall Ross Annex Conference Room 2001. Also in attendance were: Adolfo Lopez, Applicant; Jim Gartner, Architect; Vince Fregoso, Principal Planner; Mike McCoy, Police Department; Ryan Hodge, City Attorney; and Jocelyn Magalona, Recording Secretary. Vince Fregoso provided the project update and recommendation of approval with conditions. There were no written communications. Discussion was held regarding the unpermitted signage. Planning Condition No. 6 was added indicating all exterior signs must be in compliance and Police Condition No. 16 was modified to comply with the added condition prior to the issuance of Letter of is Approval to the Alcohol Beverage Control Board. The Zoning Administrator requested Code Enforcement be informed to investigate the unpermitted signage. The applicant and architect inquired about having a banquet facility and after hours operation included in the conditions. The Zoning Administrator stated the application before him is for an Alcoholic Beverage Control license and explained the process for the banquet facility and after hours operation request. The Zoning Administrator continued the item to allow the applicant time to file for the appropriate applications. The Zoning Administrator continued Conditional Use Permit No. 2011 -07 as conditioned to June 8, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in the City Hall Ross Annex, Second Floor Conference Room 2001, 20 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California 92701.
