Pursuant to the Brown Act and the Maddy Act, the June 9, 2003 Agenda for the Regular
Meeting was posted on the door of the City Hall Council Chambers at 22 Civic Center Plaza
on June 5, 2003 at 4:00 p.m.
RECOMMENDATION:
Instruct the Commission Secretary to enter posting into the minutes.

PUBLIC HEARINGS
Public hearings provide individuals the opportunity to be heard
regarding an intended action of the Planning Commission related to
land use.
1. ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT NO. 2003-02 (Melanie McCann)
Filed by the City of Santa Ana to amend Chapter 41 of the Municipal Code regulating
vending machines.
PUBLISHED IN THE REGISTER: June 13, 2003
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend that the City Council:
1. Approve and certify the Negative Declaration, Environmental Review No. 2003-123.
2. Adopt an ordinance approving Zoning Ordinance Amendment No. 2003-02.
3. Adopt a resolution establishing a fee for an outdoor vending machine land use certificate.
